Chickpea Curry: Video Tutorial

In this video, you will learn how to make a traditional chickpea curry! This recipe only takes 20 minutes to prepare and has a great depth of flavor.
1 lb or 13 oz can of chick pea
1 chopped onion
4-6 minced garlic cloves
3-4 chopped green chilies (optional)
2-3 tbsp of cumin powder
½ can of tomato paste
2 -3 tbsp of Madras curry powder
2-3 tbsp of vinegar
5-6 curry leaves (optional)
½ cup of chopped fresh cilantro
Fry onions until translucent.
Stir in chopped garlic, curry leaves and green chilies.
Add tomato paste and fry until incorporated.
Mix in both curry powders until a paste.
Add curry leaves fry for a minute.
Pour the chickpea and the liquid too and simmer until oil separates (10 mins).
Add 2-3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar fresh cilantro. Salt to taste
